Designer, artist, interior designer, art director, exhibition curator.


She studied in Poland and Italy. For 10 years she has cooperated with Alessandro Mendini and Atelier Mendini in Milan. Since 2005, her studio's headquarter is in Milan.


Her achievements include, among others, projects for leading brands in the field of design. She works for international companies, such as Alessi, Swatch, Venini, Fiorucci, Hermes, Luxo, Abet Laminati, Swarovski, Bisazza, Fiat, Redd's, Cosimo Martinelli, Comforty, Du Pont, Noti, Slamp, Kauffman, Ardcodife Louvre, Cosi Tabellini, Velab, Krono, Almi Decor, Tubądzin, Christian Dior and many others. Among her projects there are such interior designs as the luxurious Byblos Art & Design Hotel, Villa Amista in Valpolicelli, and the shop concept for such brands as Alessi and Swatch.


Since 2015, she has been associated with the Tubądzin Group, for which she has developed the Cielo e Terra collection - large-format, coloured body porcelain tiles. Her collection received the Design Award for the Connoisseur of the magazine “Dobre Wnętrze”, the title of EU Pearl of Ceramics 2019 and Pearl of Ceramics Distributors 2019 in the competition of the magazine „Wokół Płytek Ceramicznych” and CAD Design K&A. She was also a finalist in the Good Design competition.


Dorota Koziara widely approaches the topics of design. As a designer, she deals with the promotion of design, company development strategy through design and design criticism. For years, she has also been the curator and organizer of an exhibition promoting design in the international field. Among others, the most important are: "Real Industry Future Classics. Comforty ", Temporary Museum For New Design, Superstudio Piu, Salone del Mobile 2011 in Milan,"Polish Design - Design from Wielkopolska", Salone del Mobile 2012, "Polish Design", Salone del Mobile 2013, Downtown Design Dubai 2013,"Mendini" At the National Museum in Poznań in 2004 and 2014, "Wrocław as the European Capital of Culture" at the Neon Gallery and at the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw, "Polish Design - Tomorrow is Today" Salone del Mobile 2017 in Milan.


Her works were presented at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad, among others in Milan, London, Paris, New York, Berlin, Tokyo and Zurich. She is a laureate of the international sculpture competition "Third Millenium" in Tuscany, Italy, for the installation called "12 Angels".


In 1998, she developed a part of the dramaturgy and set design for the performance "70 Angels on the Facade" directed by Robert Wilson for the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. It was the first theater performance in the world about the history of architecture and design, which was created for the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the world's oldest magazine "Domus".
